How to join an expedition to Fiji
1. Once you have completed our application form we will then call you to explain more about your chosen expedition and answer any questions you may have. We are always happy to arrange a meeting in Leeds if you would prefer to chat through the expedition face-to-face.
2. We will confirm if we can offer you a place and send you a booking pack and a copy of our terms and conditions.
3. To secure your place you will need to pay a deposit of £195. Your deposit is non-refunable and is deducted from your final balance, which is not required until 12 weeks before your expedition starts.
4. Start preparing for the South Pacific!
You will have a personal contact at Think Pacific, your own project manager, who has spent considerable time in the rural villages of the Fiji Islands and is here to answer all of your questions. We take pride in assisting you every step of the way to departure and we love doing so, no question is too silly or too much trouble.
You will receive a comprehensive project pack in the post, including advice about flights and insurance as well as comprehensive information about Fijian life, culture, customs, health and safety and our project aims.
We we will invite you to join your team's specific facebook group so you can get to know your fellow volunteers. We also host regular information days in London and Edinburgh (and we're always available for meetings in Leeds too) and we'd love to see you in person if you'd like to come to any of our talks and learn more about our charity aims and life in a rural Fijian villages.
