Established in 1968, USP is one of only two universities of its type in the world. It is jointly owned by the government of 12 member countries: Cook Islands, Fiji, Kiribati, Marshall Islands, Nauru, Niue, Solomon Islands, Tokelau, Tonga, Vanuatu and Samoa. It has campuses in all member countries.

Think Pacific is a registered Fijian charity and specialist third-party provider for study tours, service-learning, internships and remote programmes – that has guided over 10,000 students on mobility projects to the South Pacific, since 2009.

Below are a few example itineraries of 16-day Study Tours that have been designed and delivered alongside university partners. If you can’t see a program that works for you and the needs of your institutions, we would be delighted to design a bespoke program for you.
Immerse into the indigenous culture by spending time visiting a traditional village. See the South Pacific through the eyes of the local people and experience age-old customs and traditions.
Learn from academics in the South Pacific. Complete workshops, short-courses or study sessions at the University of the South Pacific.
Complete a group social action challenge supporting community-based development initiatives. Students can present their work to experts and sector leaders.
Students can spend time learning from local leaders and implementers in their relevant field of study. Visit organisations and businesses to engage with entrepreneurs, policy makers and thought leaders.
Visit local attractions and areas of interest such as waterfall rainforests and museums, or sail a traditional Polynesian Sailing Canoe on a castaway island resort. Participate in team activities hosted by USP.
All programmes are managed and guided by our in-country operations team. You will be assigned local group leaders that shall provide 24/7 support and be by your side each day, with further assistance from management team.
